Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall wrote this female empowerment anthem with: Singer-songwriter Rachel Furner, who originally performed as an artist under the name of Tich reaching the UK Top 40 in 2013 with her single "Dumb." She co-wrote Little Mix's 2015 hit with Jason DeRulo, "Secret Love Song." Producer Jez Ashurst, who has written songs recorded by numerous artists including Leona Lewis ("One More Sleep") and Click Five ("Jenny"). He also co-penned "Secret Love Song."
"Woman's World" was inspired by the #MeToo anti-sexual harassment campaign and examines issues in the workplace. "We wrote this song when the whole #MeToo movement was coming about," Thirlwall told Vice magazine's Noisey. "I was so angry about what was going on. It was important to write it with Jez, who's a man. It holds an important message."
