In our interview with Björn Yttling of PB&J, he said that his song is about "questioning all those material things that mean a lot to you in a certain part of life, but then mean nothing in the next." He added that the song also deals with "those small things you do with someone you love that when love ends, stop feeling the same and turn into something different."
This song drew musical inspiration from "See America Right," a 2002 song by The Mountain Goats.
Miike Snow, which like Peter Bjorn and John is based in Stockholm, did a popular remix of this song.
