During this tender, psychedelic dreamscape, Paul McCartney describes the "deep deep feeling" of being in love. Here in my heart I feel a deep devotion It almost hurts It's such a deep emotion So intense and immense is the feeling, it becomes almost painful.
The longest track on McCartney III, this came from a jam that Macca did where he used Pro Tools like a canvas. He described it to Uncut magazine as the craziest song on the record. "It goes on and on and on! There are millions of little changes in it," McCartney said. "At one point, I thought I needed to edit it because it's about 8 minutes long. I grabbed earphones, played it and got so engrossed in it that I decided to leave it as it is. I thought it might be indulgent. Making an album like this, to some degree, indulgent. But then, it's also about having fun."
At 8:25, McCartney wondered if the song was too long but decided it didn't become too boring. "It's repetitive but it's about the feeling we all have when every cell in your body thrills. It just surges through you," he told The Sun. "If it was a sound, it would be 'zzzhhhhheeeeee.' You get it when you see something you really love or have a special moment with a member of your family."
