Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Now That I've Found You. By Songfacts®.

"Now That I've Found You" was written in honor of Liam Gallagher's daughter, Molly Moorish. Molly, who was raised by her mother, former Kill City frontwoman Lisa Moorish, had never met her father until she'd reached her early 20s. They've since become close, and here, the former Oasis frontman proclaims his commitment to her. He will carry on loving his long-lost daughter for the rest of their lives, as he makes up for lost time. Now that I've found you I won't let go Let my love surround you Now that I've found you I can lay down with my ghost Gallagher told Chris Moyles on Radio x: "Not that she was lost or anything, or she was captured by the Taliban or anything like that. But it's got a 'now that you're in my life' kinda vibe. It's cool. It's nice."

Liam Gallagher wrote the song with Simon Aldred of Cherry Ghost; the pair's other collaborations include the As You Were single "For What It's Worth" and Why Me? Why Not's title track. Aldred also helped pen Sam Smith's "Leave Your Lover" and Avicii's "Waiting for Love."
