Features Clarence Clemons on sax. After a budding football career ended with an injury, Clemons focused on music, met Springsteen at a club in New Jersey, and became the most popular member of The E Street Band.

Incorporates Bo Diddley's trademark beat. Springsteen would sometimes lead into this at concerts with part of Diddley's "Who Do You Love?" or "Mona."
