Jordan Pundik (vocals) added in the same Kerrang! interview: "That was one of the first songs that Chad sang added vocals on."
Chad Gilbert (guitar) told Kerrang!: "It was written when we had just moved to California from Florida. I think it just made it more serious, more focused. We weren't able to just go home to our families. It was the first time it was like, 'This is what we do now.'"
