Staind frontman Aaron Lewis is one of the most politically conservative rock musicians. The outspoken right-winger has often been vocal about his political views, and this patriotic anthem finds him asking if he is the only one fed up with the state of the country.

"Am I The Only Only One" is a country song, a genre Lewis has pursued since releasing his solo single "Country Boy" in 2010. He penned the track with Ira Dean (formerly of the country group Trick Pony) and Nashville songwriter Jeffrey Steele.
