On this furious rant vocalist Justin Furstenfeld is torturing someone for taking "the future and the food off his family's plate."

Sounds from a malfunctioning guitar amp were used in parts of this song. Guitarist C.B. Hudson explained to Alternative Addiction that multi-instrumentalist Ryan Delahoussaye's "amp was on the fritz, and it was making this really weird noise. [So] we recorded that and it's actually the sample that you are hearing right out of the first chorus."

Furstenfeld told Ultimate Guitar that this song was written by the entire band. He explained: "It was written by everyone. It would come up in rehearsals. And then we came up with our first single."
