This song is an ode to Liam Gallagher's girlfriend Debbie Gwyther. He told The Daily Mirror: "She sorted me right out. Me and her like having a drink. We like having a laugh. I've met my match, my soulmate. The kids love her, that's good."
Gallagher wrote the song with Northern Irish songwriter Iain Archer, whose other credits include Snow Patrol's "Run" and Jake Bugg's "Two Fingers."
This was one of eight As You Were tracks that were produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat, who has previously worked with Radiohead, Mumford and Sons, Lana Del Rey, Hurts, Tom Odell and The Vaccines. Gallagher told The Guardian about their partnership: "I'll play him a tune very badly and he'll go, 'Yeah, I get where you're coming from' and get the acoustics down and away we go."
