He then decided to tack it onto the streaming version of his subsequent album EVOL. The song became a club favorite and was released as a single on April 13, 2016. It became Future's sixth Top 50 Hot 100 hit as a lead performer.
Metro Boomin's producer tag ("Metro Boomin want some more N---a"), which is heard at the beginning of this song was first shouted-out by Young Thug at the start of his 19 & Boomin track "Some More."
