The title track of Saxon's Battering Ram album, the song is about the screaming fans who gather at the stage barriers at Saxon shows. "When I'm writing lyrics I like to switch back and forth between complex things, reality and rock'n'roll," said singer Biff Byford.
Battering Ram was produced by Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Exodus) at his Backstage Recording Studios in rural Derbyshire, in north England. This song's video captures Saxon at Backstage Studios throwing down a thunderous performance.
