This uptempo song was released as the lead single from Rascal Flatts' 11th studio album. The romantic number finds the trio promising a girl that "every bit of love left in this beat up, banged up, scarred up heart," is hers if she wants it.
The song was written by Andrew Dorff (Blake Shelton's "Neon Light;" Kenny Chesney's "Save It for a Rainy Day" and Hunter Hayes' "Somebody's Heartbreak") and Jonathan Singleton (Billy Currington's "Don't," David Nail's "Red Light," Tyler Farr's "A Guy Walks Into a Bar").
This was one to be one of Andrew Dorff's last writing credits as he passed away aged just 40 in December 2016: "We all felt like 'Yours If You Want It,' was the perfect way to introduce our fans and radio to the new music we've been making," said Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus in a statement. "We've been working really hard and we're very proud of this track. And what's more, the late Andrew Dorff is a writer on it, and we are so honored to be a small part of making sure his legacy lives on. We have a special angel watching over it, for sure."
