Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars wrote this smooth, buoyant song after imagining something they would perform in the middle of a roller rink. Mars told Apple Music they began to wonder what the bassline, guitar and drums would be doing, plus he was looking for an excuse to play the congas. "We wanted everyone to feel like they were floating and gliding, slipping and sliding," Mars said.
Silk Sonic released this good-time roller on July 30, 2021 as the follow-up to their Hot 100-topping hit "Leave The Door Open."
