This was used in the movie Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back. The music video featured Jay and Silent Bob as well.

This song makes fun of the music scene at the time. Particularly those who sang about how tough their lives were, when in reality they made up a background story for their songs.

The album cover for this was just showing the CD, with the words "Rip if Off" on it. It is the same concept as System of a Down's Steal This Album! Stroke 9's album came out first, but was not nearly as successful.
