This tearful ballad finds Justin playing a scorned ex. This song was originally released on the teenage pop singer's debut album My World 2.0 with production by his fellow Canadians, The Messengers.

A revamped version was recorded for his Justin Bieber: Never Say Never soundtrack album with a guest appearance by American country band Rascal Flatts. Regarding crossing genre from Pop to Country, Justin told ABC, "Music is music, and it's a universal language. It doesn't really matter what style, as long as it appeals to others and people like it, that's all that really matters."

In an interview with Nashville radio station WSIX, Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox said, "[Justin] asked us to do a duet with him on his next record. It's actually a really good song! The kid is really talented. He plays five or six different instruments really well."
