Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Brackish. By Songfacts®.

This driving rocker was the first single from Kittie, a metal band comprised of four teenaged girls from London, Ontario. Such an aggressive sound had never been heard coming from young ladies, and it got the attention of the metal community, earning Kittie a spot at Ozzfest and a tour opening for Slipknot.

In our interview with Kittie guitarist Morgan Lander, she talked about the meaning of this song. "It actually is a commentary on a friend of the band's, and the relationship that she was in at the time," she said. "We didn't necessarily think it was a good one, and a lot of those lyrics were representative of our feelings towards that situation."
