Cullum discussed this song in a press release: "It's a straight up love song and probably the first I've written that doesn't include a joke. I think it could really last. It's a song that people will relate to if they've ever fallen in love and wanted to say to that person: 'This is not going to go wrong, this is it.' It's almost a plea to yourself not to mess things up."
