Guitarist Ben Bruce told Artist Direct this song reflects the band's attitude when they've been out on the road for a long time. "It's tough being out on the road, and we do miss home," he said. "At the same time, we love it. It's two completely different ideologies. We love being out on the road, but we hate it at the same time. It's a love-hate relationship. That song speaks for itself."

The song's music video gives a glimpse into the Asking Alexandria band members lives both on and off the stage. Ben Bruce commented: "For the first time in our careers, we are showcasing ourselves in the most sincere light possible. No drugs, no partying, no script and no bulls--t. It's just the five of us completely vulnerable." "No matter what the circumstance, being away from those you love and care about is very difficult and drags you down," he continued. "Luckily for us, we have incredible fans that love and support us and help us through our toughest times. I hope this video gives you all a little bit of a look into our world." The clip also features brief appearances from both Ice-T and Trivium vocalist Matt Heafy.

Speaking to Kerrang! about the song in 2015, Ben Bruce said: "I feel like this was the first time I completely let my guard down and said, 'I'm completely in love with it and I don't care what anyone else thinks about it.' Obviously we love all the songs we write and this was a step outside of our comfort zone, but one so worth taking. It's been accepted really well by our fans - maybe not to begin with, but now it goes down great live, and it's nice to have had that kind of reaction to it."
