A Better Place, a Better Time

Streetlight Manifesto's lead singer, Tomas Kalnoky, said at a live show that this song was written about three different people: The chorus is about two kids with cerebral palsy who he met as a counselor at a special needs camp, and the rest of the song was written to cheer up one of his friends in college who struggled with thoughts of suicide.
