Blackberry Smoke frontman Charlie Starr told HMV.com: "I was very particular with 'What Comes Naturally,' in that I wanted it to sound as ragged as possible. So we spent a good bit of time making sure it didn't sound clean or polished at all, but more like an old Chess record."
