This 18-minute epic is about dancing to cheeseball '70s hits at weddings. It was inspired by a Quaker wedding in rural Tennessee that Lambchop mainman Kurt Wagner attended where a colleague of his wife got married. Wagner recalled to Uncut: "There was a rainstorm in the middle, then everybody was getting down at the end. I didn't know why all these people knew how to synchronize their dancing, and then Mary explained to me it was the f---ing Hustle."
The "Flotus" album title is an abbreviation for "For Love Often Turns Us Still."
