Frontman Alex Davies and guitarist Ed Minton originally met as schoolboys at Uppingham Public School. This song is about some spooky paranormal events that occurred in an attic flat there, where they'd built a simple recording studio. The pair witnessed swinging lights, drawers flying open and posters mysteriously peeling off the wall.
Ed Minton accidentally broke his borrowed Gibson guitar during the filming of the song's video. A close inspection of the video shows he plays 2 different guitars.
