Dylan Scott was born and raised in Bastrop, a very small town in Northeast Louisiana. Here, he paints the picture of small-town living, which the young Scott grew up loving. "That is what this song is all about, and I wouldn't trade the way I grew up for anything."
Dylan Scott wrote the song with: Frequent collaborator Matt Alderman. He also co-penned the similarly themed "My Town" for Scott's eponymous debut album. Nashville based singer-songwriter and guitarist John Taylor.
