The Dutchess is Fergie's first solo album, and she seems to be making in effort to add to the lexicon of the urban dictionary. In this song, "Fergalicious" seems to be an adjective describing something that makes boys go crazy. She applies this term to her body, or as she might otherwise refer to it, her "My Humps."

Fergie won for Favorite Female Artist at the 2007 American Music Awards, where she performed this song in a medley with "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Clumsy."
