Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Whole Love. By Songfacts®.

This warm and groovy country rocker finds vocalist Jeff Tweedy revealing a fine falsetto as he tells of his love for his beau. "I'm simple as a matter of fact… I still love you to death/And I won't ever forget how," he croons.

The song is one of the most pop-friendly tracks on Wilco's eighth album, The Whole Love. Tweedy described the tune to Spin magazine as, "Other people's pop music that doesn't sound like pop music."

Tweedy's teenage son Spencer directed the music video, which features appearances from fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson, Spencer's little brother, Sammy, and his friend, Joey.
