Born Roza Kostandyan in Vanadzor, Armenia, Rosa Linn released her debut single in America, "King," in collaboration with US singer Kiiara in September 2021. The following year, Public Television of Armenia (AMPTV) chose Linn to represent Armenia for the Eurovision Song Contest. "Snap" is the song she sang.
Linn placed 20th out of the 25 participating countries in the Eurovision Final, scoring 61 points. But following the contest, "Snap" went viral on TikTok and the single charted throughout Europe. In this song, Linn reflects on how she can't get over her ex. She's reached a snapping point and, feeling like there's no way out, starts questioning everything, including herself. Though her entire world is crumbling down around her, others are unsympathetic, telling Linn she'll get over it.
Writing "Snap" was a form of therapy for Linn. What I realized was that I had the strength to shape my reality," she said. "It just took getting out of my own way and finding inner-peace. It's all about self-love and accepting that you are enough."
