This stadium-sized ballad about a Bonnie and Clyde-style couple was co-penned by Zach Crowell, who has also worked with country artists Scotty McCreery ("See You Tonight") and Will Hoge ("Strong") as well as Christian rapper Lecrae ("Confe$$ions"). Crowell also co-produced the song with Urban.

Chris McHugh played the drums on this song. McHugh was the stickman of Christian rock band White Heart in the late 1980s before becoming one of Nashville's leading session drummers. He has toured with Amy Grant and Garth Brooks as well as acting as Music Director/drummer for Keith Urban, playing on all of the Australian country star's studio albums.

Zach Crowell penned the tune with Matt Jenkins and Sam Hunt. Urban said that as soon as he heard the demo he knew he had to cut it before anyone else did. "It's a beautiful song about a guy and girl, falling in love in the back of a cop car while they're getting arrested," said the singer. "I'd never heard a song written from this perspective before. But it was so visual, it was such a cinematic, visual song, and God, I love this song so much. I love the melody, the lyric of course, and I know this girl, and I know this crazy girl in the song too."
