"Let You Love Me" finds Rita Ora lamenting a self-destructive relationship. The synth-pop tune is a take on the complexities of romances in which the singer acknowledging that she is the reason behind their troubles. Every time it gets too real And every time I feel like sabotaging I start running again And every time I push away I really wanna say that I'm sorry Ora wishes she could let her romantic interest love her but instead she can't help constantly sabotaging their relationship.

Rita Ora wrote the song with: Canadian songwriter and producer Linus Wiklund, also known as LotusIV, who has also co-penned several of Zedd's hit tunes including "Stay" and "Happy Now." Swedish singer-songwriter Noonie Bao whose other credits include Avicii vs Nicky Romero's "I Could Be The One" and Camila Cabello's "Never Be the Same." Californian singer-songwriter Ilsey Juber, who also contributed to the writing of Shawn Mendes' "Mercy" and Martin Garrix (feat Bebe Rexha)'s "In The Name Of Love ." English producer Fred Gibson, whose resume also includes Clean Bandit's "Solo" and Jax Jones' "Breathe." Producer Finn Keane, otherwise known as EASYFUN, who frequently collaborates with Charli XCX.

The neon-accented music video takes place at a London party. Directed by Malia James, it finds Ora flirting with a fellow partygoer, who is played by model Sonny Hall.
