Written by lead singer Lou Gramm and guitarist Mick Jones, this was the third single from the 1987 Inside Information album, following "Say You Will" and "I Don't Want to Live Without You." Earlier in the year, Gramm released his first solo album, scoring a hit with "Midnight Blue."
