A track from Randy Newman's second album, "Have You Seen My Baby" is one of many in his catalog where the woebegone singer can't catch a break. His girl is running all over town, and there's nothing he can do about it. If she's not taking up with the mailman, she's hanging out with the gypsies.

Fats Domino also recorded this song, with Newman doing the horn arrangement. His version, which is more of a piano stomper, came out around the same time as Newman's but was relegated to the B-side of his single "Make Me Belong To You." "When he did it, it was like him imitating me imitating him," Newman told Rolling Stone. "He's one of my Top 5 artists of all time."
