This feisty pop number, in which Britney transforms into a real-life Barbie doll, was written by spears along with Harvey Mason, Jr, Rob Knox and James Fauntleroy. The song is part of her sixth album, Circus; she also has co-writing credits on the tracks "Mmm Papi" and "My Baby."
"Mannequin" wasn't released as a single but Britney performed the song on her 2009 Circus tour with the Sydney-based dancer Shannon Holtzapffel as her dance partner.
Katy Perry beat Britney to the song title, releasing a different song called "Mannequin" a few months earlier in 2008.
