Roy "Royalty" Hamilton and RiffRaph produced the song. Hamilton is an African-American Pop and R&B songwriter, record producer, and musician, whose résumé includes Joe's Hot 100 #1 "Stutter," Keith Sweat's 2002 album Rebirth and Keri Hilson's track "Can You Do It."

The song features R&B/Hip Hop singer songwriter Keri Hilson, who also co-wrote the track along with Kelly and Hamilton.
