Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Yesterday's Feelings. By Songfacts®.

With lyrics written by the band's frontman Bert McCracken, this song deals with love and loss - the pain of not being able to get over someone who has already moved on. It leaves you with an empty feeling where the world seems to be distant, but it will go away with time. It is about moving on tomorrow, but being left with your sorrow today. When we spoke with The Used bassist Jeph Howard, he said that to him, the song is about forgetting – forgetting bad things in the past and bad things that other people have done to you. He also believes the song is about starting over.

The Used used to play "Yesterday's Feelings" as part of a two-song acoustic set in the middle of their shows. As they released more material over the years, the band started to omit the song from their gigs.
