Perhaps the most interesting element of "Party Hard" - aside from the fact that it isn't the Andrew W.K. song of the same name - is Jarvis Cocker's vocals, which take on a baritone David-Bowie-esque tone in the present song.
The song was the very last single off the band's 1998 album This Is Hardcore, noted for being much darker in tone than previous smash-hit album Different Class (1995). "Party Hard" made #29 in the UK chart despite being the last single off the album.
