Hokoyo

This Afropop flavored tune was co-written by Orange Juice's Zimbabwean drummer Zeke Manyika who sings it in his native African tongue of Shona. Manyika later played drums on some of The Style Council's singles including "Speak Like a Child" and "A Solid Bond in Your Heart," as well as Hope and Despair, the debut solo album by Edwyn Collins. He is also a longtime collaborator with The The's leader, Matt Johnson and has contributed to several of his band's albums.
