Interesting facts and trivia about Blow Me. By Songfacts®.

Here, The Used's Bert McCracken rages against the United States' lack of gun control. He told Kerrang: "In the world we live in, especially in America, gun violence has gone beyond what is rationally acceptable. Well, what kind of gun violence is rationally acceptable? We all have sincere feelings about what's happening to the world and guns and people's ability to walk into a public place and shoot the whole place up."

The song also has a secondary meaning concerning the power of words. Said McCracken: "We are also very aware of how impactful small statements can be, and in this world where everyone feels like they are almost the center of attention with social media, I think that it's important to accept how powerful words are."

"Blow Me" features a vocal contribution by Fever 333's Jason Aalon Butler. Fever 333 supported The Used in 2018, but this is the first time members of the two groups have recorded together.
