Everything I See

George Strait penned this song with his son, Bubba Strait, along with Dean Dillon and Keith Gattis. He told Rolling Stone Country it's a personal favorite on Cold Beer Conversation. "The song that means the most to me is 'Everything I See,'" he said, "because we wrote it about my dad after he passed away."

Strait is listed in the songwriting credits of Cold Beer Conversation on three songs in total: "Let It Go," "It Takes All Kinds" and this one. "I think it's important for an artist to write," he said. "I thought it was important when I started. I started out writing songs, then got lazy about it, because I found so many great songs from other writers in town. I really regret that. I wish I had continued to write my whole career."
