Saddened by the tragic deaths of rappers XXXTENTACION and Nipsey Hussle, Joyner Lucas pours out his heart to the Highest Power. I know you're watching us from heaven thinking, "Who to save?" Cherry pickin' who should go next and who should stay I'd be on my way to heaven if I knew the way Throughout the song Lucas asks God why legends such as XXXTentacion, Nipsey Hussle, Martin Luther King, Aaliyah, and Biggie Smalls had to die young. He contrasts this with reviled people like Suge Knight, and Donald Trump who are still on our planet.

At the end of the song Lucas states that though he is hurting, he is wrong to blame God for so many untimely deaths. Instead, he concludes, "It's the devil's work."
