That's The Truth

This is the third single from British band McFly's fifth studio album, Above The Noise. The song was premiered by BBC Radio 2 on January 15, 2011 on Graham Norton's programme and was released on March 6, 2011 via Island Records.

The song was written and produced by McFly and US producer Dallas Austin (Madonna, Michael Jackson). It is a departure from the electronic sound featured on the band's previous two singles "Party Girl" and "Shine a Light." A string orchestra accompanies the heartfelt lyrics about honesty and working through problems in relationships.

Luke Bellis directed the music video, which shows Dougie Poynter having a meltdown in his room until he is soothed by drops of water coming from the ceiling.
