Released on November 27, 2020 as a single for the Christmas market, this song finds the Little Mix girls moving on following a breakup. While not a festive song, the sentiment is relevant for the 2020 COVID pandemic when many had been left heartbroken at not being able to see loved ones.
The song is a collaboration with Nathan Dawe. He co-produced the track with Tre Jean-Marie, who previously worked with the British DJ on his hit single "Lighter." Dawe said it represents a different sound for the quartet. "Little Mix haven't really been on a song that sounds like this – it's so bass-heavy," he told The Sun. "But we've managed to mix their pop element and my bass, house element really well."
Little Mix's Jade Thirwall wrote the song with MNEK, who also co-penned and produced the girl band's previous single, "Sweet Melody."
