Will.i.am's contribution to the Great Gatsby soundtrack fuses Cecil Mack and James P. Johnson's 1923 jazz composition "Charleston" with the rapper/producer's futuristic pop, and adds a little bit of Cher to boot.
Critics have pointed out the similarities between a portion of this song and "Epic" by Quintino & Sandro Silva. Another #willpower track "Let's Go" also created controversy due to identical segments between the song and the track "Rebound" by Arty and Mat Zo.
The vintage black-and-white video finds will surrounded by a full band performing the song on a tiered podium, while filmed through a 1920s vintage filter. He is accompanied by a flapper girl who recounts how she shot him down.
