This is a love song about Tom Chaplin's wife Natalie. He explained to The Sun: "We spend a lot of time in London together walking along the river and enjoying the night lights. It's a very romantic place. I suppose I was saying the mixture of the town, the lights and love is a heady cocktail."
Tom Chaplin wrote the song with Tom Hobden and Fred Abbott, who are both former members of the folk/rock band Noah and the Whale.
