In this song the narrator warns her new fella that her previous boyfriend damaged her heart so he'll need to be understanding with her.
This was produced by the production company Stereotypes. Jeremy Reeves of Stereotypes recalled to saclights.com the recording of this track: "We recorded in Circle House Studios, which is basically just a house that's been converted into a studio. They had the lights and everything set up in the engineering room. That was basically our set. The session lasted 12 hours. It took a little longer than normal, but that's because we were working with five girls instead of just one artist. We had to make sure all the vocals and backgrounds were tight."
When Welcome to the Dollhouse entered the US album chart at the top position, Danity Kane became the first female group in Billboard history to debut at #1 with both their debut and sophomore sets.
