On this track, Fergie links up with American rapper Q Tip and producer GoonRock, the man behind many of LMFAO's hits. The Black Eyed Peas' lead singer scats her way through the song, which combines 1920s jazz-style rhythms with contemporary house beats. The song was recorded for the Great Gatsby soundtrack and references the lavish parties held by Gatsby that are described in the novel.
The lyric and the melody are borrowed appropriately from Duke Ellington's 1932 standard, "It Don't Mean a Thing (If it Ain't Got that Swing)."
The video sees Fergie donning Prohibition-era outfits surrounded by dancers at a wild party. Q-Tip and GoonRock also appear in the clip.
