Did You Know?

Interesting facts and trivia about Wildflower. By Songfacts®.

The JaneDear Girls comprise Alpine, Utah native Susie Brown and Danelle Leverett, who hails from Amarillo in Texas. The pair met at a concert in Nashville when songwriter Kris Bergsnes suggested to Danelle that she watch Susie perform. Soon afterwards they began writing songs together and the minute they finished their first collaboration, the two performers knew they were a duo. They chose to name themselves The JaneDear Girls because it was "feminine and all-American."

Between the two of them, Susie and Danelle play a total of eight instruments: Accordion, Acoustic guitar, Bass, Electric guitar, Fiddle, Gango, Harp and Mandolin.

The girls penned every song on their self-titled debut album, for which this up-tempo number is the lead single. "We try to put a lot of ourselves, who we are and our personalities into our music," said Susie. "We like to have fun with our songs and we wanted to give our fans something they can relate to as well."
