Young co-wrote "Town Ain't Big Enough" with Cary Barlowe, Corey Crowder and Dan + Shay's Shay Mooney, who assists on background vocals.
Young and Alaina debuted the song on June 8, 2019, during a performance at Blake Shelton's downtown Nashville bar, Ole Red. The song was released on July 12, 2019.
