Billy Currington is a longtime resident of coastal Georgia and an avid surfer. During this laid-back summer anthem, he paints a picture of spending time by the sea with someone he loves.

I can see you seaside, runnin' 'round with a Rum Runner Hair down, wearin' nothin' but the summer I can see that sunshine layin' its tan on you I can see the moonlight, like a spotlight down on ya Currington wrote the song with Jordan Schmidt and Steven Lee Olson on Tybee Island, a barrier island located 18 miles (29 km) east of the singer's hometown of Savannah, Georgia. He explained they drew inspiration from "a morning of blues skies, light winds, and waves rolling into the beautiful island of Tybee." The three wrote and recorded the tune that afternoon.
