This smooth slice of modern pop combines Raye's vocals with those of Afrobeat star Mr. Eazi. The Nigerian singer-songwriter is known for pioneering Banku Music, a fusion sound he describes as the mixture of "Ghanaian bounces, Ghanaian highlife, Nigerian chord progressions, and Nigerian patterns."
Raye wrote the song with English producer Fraser T Smith, whose credits include Adele's US #1 hit "Set Fire To The Rain." He also produced UK chart-toppers by Tinchy Stryder ("Never Leave You", "Number 1"), Pixie Lott ("Boys and Girls") and Taio Cruz ("Break Your Heart").
Smith's production reworks the chorus medley from Ja Rule and Ashanti's 2001 hit single "Always On Time."
