Cole Swindell penned this ode to the significant people in his life with Ashley Gorley and Jesse Frasure. The song is a thank you to his family and beyond. All the haters all the lovers My dad and my two brothers All the people I ain't seen in too many years And I thank God that I met you Hope you know I won't forget you This one's for the ones who got me here Swindell is even grateful for the naysayers who helped shape him into the successful singer-songwriter he has become.
Swindell recalled the penning of the track to Sounds Like Nashville: "I remember the night I wrote this song I was in Virginia Beach," he said. "We were just talking about growing up and how far we've all come. Not just me, but them as well. I started talking about the people who raised me, the people who got me through high school, college and the ones who moved me to Nashville. The people that didn't believe in me were just as important as those who did because that motivated me. I think we can all relate to a song like this because no matter where you are in life, someone helped you get there. Somebody pushed you, whether they were behind you, supporting you or doubting you."
Filmed at Ken Redmond Stadium/Joe Patterson Field in Nashville, the music video shows Cole Swindell reminiscing about everyone and everything who has encouraged him through the years to follow his dreams.
