The song commences with a sample from Cutty Ranks' 1991 dancehall track "The Stopper (Main Attraction Remix)." It also contains samples of Eazy Duz It" by Eazy-E and "Ridin Spinners" by Three 6 Mafia.

The Fleur & Manu-directed video features Drake morphing himself into several recent pop culture moments. In one segment, he becomes Miley Cyrus in her "Wrecking Ball" clip. Then, we see him posing as Oprah Winfrey watching Tom Cruise jump up and down on the couch during her 2005 interview when the actor declared his love for Katie Holmes. Also, the Toronto rhymer impersonates Kanye West reenacting his motorcycle scene in the "Bound 2" visual complete with faux Kim Kardashian. He additionally pretends to be fellow Canadian Justin Bieber, President Obama, Floyd Mayweather, LeBron James, OJ Simpson, a Ken doll and more. Speaking with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Drake said he was inspired by Michael Jackson's "Black Or White" visual and wanted to take it to another level. "I was like, 'Man, you know, effects have come such a long way. I bet we could do something crazy with this," he said . "I want people to rewind it a bunch of times and go and tell someone else to watch it. It's shocking, it's beautiful, it's a lot of things."
